Dubai real estate market has been revamped: Nakheel, a construction company, one of the region's key developers, has put up for sale 360 townhouses as part of the Murooj Al Furjian West project. This quarter is part of the territory of Al Furjan district. Among the objects presented there are only large townhouses - from 3 bedrooms or more. Starting price is from 500 thousand US dollars.
Construction company representatives report that the area is showing high demand, including among foreign investors. ValuStrat thinks that this interest is underpinned by the persisting pandemic trend for detached housing in urban club-style sectors. Analysts inform that it is not worth expecting a decline in this interest even after all restrictions are lifted.
In general, not only this residential area, but also other areas with villas and townhouses in Dubai are showing increased demand. Experts say the reason for this high demand for townhouses is the EXPO 2020 exhibition, which will be held soon (the exhibition was postponed to 2021). Investors expect to make a big profit by renting out their homes to attendees of this large-scale event.
